The Envirovolt educational kit: what is it?
The Envirovolt kit, like the 0Watt suitcase, is an educational tool produced by Hydro-Québec for the 3rd and 4th year of primary school. It is distributed for free by Réseau Technoscience.
Objectives of this turnkey product:

Highlighting the environmental consequences of construction projects, focusing on Hydro-Québec's initiatives in the production, transmission and distribution of electricity

Educating young people about the importance of preserving nature and biological diversity

Familiarize students with the profession of biologist

To stimulate curiosity and enthusiasm among young people for environmental and hydroelectric sciences
The Envirovolt educational kit: what does it contain?
In the company of two characters, Loïc Finregard and Julie Lapatience, your students take on the role of apprentice biologists. In the form of games, young people discover the impacts that a hydroelectric power station can have on fauna, flora, human activities and on the visual aspect of the environment.
