Who are the innovators?
Innovators are practicing scientists, graduate students, entrepreneurs, retirees, science educators, and enthusiasts who have developed high-level expertise in a scientific or technical field.
Our network has nearly 200 volunteers from universities, CEGEPs, research centers, private companies, public institutions, associations, and professional corporations. What's more, you can also join the team of volunteer innovators. Discover how to share your experience and knowledge to Quebec youth.
The Innovators in School and Library Program
Mathematics, biology, chemistry, engineering… Sciences and technologies combine in a thousand and one ways. The free workshop-conferences of the Innovators program cover the following four major areas of science: the material Universe, Earth and Space, the living Universe and the technological Universe.
For the teacher or librarian who welcomes them, it is an activity free of charge which perfectly complements the school or library program.
This program allows young people to:
1
Understand why science and innovation are essential for the progress of society, particularly in the face of the major challenges we must address
2
Communicate directly with those who work in science
3
Become aware of the accessibility of science and innovation, and why not trigger vocations.
