Welcome to the captivating world of scientific animations Les Débrouillards. From preschool onwards, these workshops awaken children's curiosity and introduce them to the fascinating mysteries of science.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Technoscience Région métropolitaine does not hold day camps in the metropolitan area. However, we do intervene in camps that request our entertainment services.
Les Débrouillards : what does it consist of?
Scientific activities Les Débrouillards are designed to offer a stimulating educational experience to young people. Children will carry out experiments, ask questions and explore complex scientific concepts in an accessible way.
Our 3 objectives are to:
- Stimulate critical thinking and encourage creativity in children.
- Deepen their understanding of science through practical, tangible experiences.
- Strengthen their self-confidence by exploring the world around them in a fun way.
For preschool level (4 to 5 years), we offer 3 science workshops that are easy to reproduce at home:
The 5 senses |
Eyes, ears, nose, mouth and skin – these senses allow us to experience the world around us. But why and how? Objective: Through manipulations, children discover their 5 senses and understand how they work. |
The glue |
Discover the famous Débrouillards glue recipe! Objective: Children create their own slime, decorate it to their liking and take it home as a souvenir. |
H2-Water |
Water, in all its forms, is essential to our daily lives. Discover its chemical composition and properties! Objective: Children learn about the water cycle, surface tension and capillarity through practical explanations. |
For primary level (6 to 12 years), we offer 9 scientific workshops, 5 of which can be done remotely.

Our facilitator comes to your day camp.
The duration of a workshop is 1 hour.
Cost
A workshop Les Débrouillards costs $250.
An addition of $0.7/km is added to the base rate to cover the travel costs of our facilitators between our offices and your establishment.
Scientific activities Les Débrouillards are eligible for financial assistance.
To reduce activity costs, check if you are eligible for the program Culture at school.
